Guest Avenue have added solar panels, a Tesla battery, and a Tepeo Zero Emissions Boiler, along with energy-saving upgrades like secondary glazing, insulation, and a partial mechanical ventilation system.

By using electricity during the off-peak period, their yearly energy bill is under £1000 a year, and they make even more back thanks to a Feed-in Tariff.

No longer connected to gas, they’re excited to share their journey with you at the ELCoE Green Open Homes Day.

Please note there is no step-free access to the house, however there is step-free access to the garden from which the solar panels can be viewed.

There will be space for a car to park on the road infront of Guest Avenue's driveway, however parking on the street is limited so you may wish to park in the Sainsburys car park off of Emersons Way and walk through the park to Guest Avenue (about 10 minutes walk)
