With four homes involved in and near Emerson Green, there’s a whole range of adaptations to see – from an air source heat pump, solar panels, battery systems, and even a zero emissions boiler, you’ll be able to chat to homeowners near you about using alternative energy sources.
If switching energy sources isn’t right for you, our home openers have installed plenty of other energy-saving measures like cavity wall or loft insulation, and secondary glazing, that helps them save money on energy bills.
The Green Homes will be open for a visit between 11am-3pm, and there’s no need to book – just drop by and our home openers will be happy to show you the adaptations they’ve made and chat over a cup of tea about the process.
