Just turn up
The air source heat pump was installed in 2022 with the help of a government grant and the system was integrated with existing microbore pipework.
Installing an air source heat pump with micropore pipes can be challenging due to the unique requirements of heat pump systems, and you might have been told that this would prevent you from having a heat pump installed - but as this Britannia Close house proves, it's most certainly acheivable and still very effective!
The home owners were really pleased with their installers and would be happy to chat through the process and how they found the experience.
Alongside the air source heat pump they have solar panels which gave given them a good deal of the energy-independence they were hoping to achieve.
They've made adjustments to the solar panels since installing them, so drop by for a cup of tea and hear about what they've learnt along the way.
Visiting info:
There's a parking space on the drive of the house, or there are usually plenty of spaces in the nearby car park of the Trident pub (please check any restrictions if parking there). There is no on-street parking on Britannia Close. The 48x bus stops nearby.
There is toilet access fopr guests in the house. Please note, there is no step-free access to the house, but there is step-free access to the garden where the heat pump can be viewed.
